چکیده

E. coli producing extended spectrum beta-lactamase (ESBL) in poultry has a major concern due to the possible transmission between them and human that may cause public health threat. Our study is directed estimate prevalence of resistance pattern characterization ESBL producibility genes isolated from chicken respiratory tract chiken farms El-Sharkia Governorate. 250 samples 50 were collected. Isolation identification serotypes performed. In addition, Antibiotic Resistance Profile (ARP) against β-lactam antibiotics, phenotypic screening PCR for genes; SHV TEM, done. The results showed 140 isolates out total (56%) morphologically biochemically positive coli. Different serogroups exhibited high rates 14 antibiotics. 35.7 % E recorded be phenotypically ESBL-positive bacteria. Genotypically, including bla TEM detected (100%) 30 (60%), respectively. conclusion, Governorate would account economic threat society.

Prevalence and antimicrobial susceptibility pattern of Staphylococcus aureus isolated from dairy cattle's subclinical mastitis in EL-Sharkia Governorate

Subclinical mastitis is a disease of major economic importance to dairy industry causing reduced milk quality and loss in its production. Therefore, the present study was carried out for isolation and identification the main pathogen responsible for this disease and detection the drug of choice. A total of 475 milk samples of lactating dairy cows were collected from different localities in El-S...

Frequency of E. coli clinical isolates producing blaSHV and blaTEM extended-spectrum beta-lactamases

Introduction: Production of extended-spectrum beta-lactamase enzymes (ESBLs) in E. coli creates many problems for patients. These enzymes are located on transferable elements and can hydrolyze penicillins, broad-spectrum cephalosporins, and aztreonam. This study aimed to determine the clinical isolates of E. coli producing ESBLs of blaSHV and blaTEM in the city of Zanjan. Methods: This cross...

qnr Prevalence in Extended Spectrum Beta-lactamases (ESBLs) and None- ESBLs Producing Escherichia coli Isolated from Urinary Tract Infections in Central of Iran

Objective(s) Extensive use of quinolones has been associated with raising level of resistance. In the current, we focused on assessing the prevalence of Escherichia coli resistance to quinolones and frequency of qnrA, qnrB and qnrS in non ESBLs (extended spectrum beta-lactamases) and ESBLs producing E. coli with blaSHV and blaTEM. Materials and Methods One hundred and fifty E. coli isolates ...

Extended spectrum beta lactamase producing E.coli isolated from Gorgan, North of Iran

Abstract Background and objectives: The increase of ESBL producing E.coli can create a tremendous difficult y for the health system. These isolates leads to rapid transmission of causative genes to other clinically important bacteria and synchronously increased resistant to other antibiotics. This study was carried out to determine the prevalence of this isolate and related genes in Gorgan, Nor...

Prevalence of extended spectrum β-lactamase (ESBL) producing E. coli and Klebsiella species in urinary isolates

Introduction: Bacterial resistance to β-lactam antibiotics has risen dramatically, with extended spectrum βlactamase (ESBL) contributing to this increase. Early identification of ESBL production is becoming increasingly important. Methodology: A total of 367 consecutive, urine samples from patients suspected to have UTI, were processed. All Escherichia coli and Klebsiella species isolated in si...
